DAC Underflow/overflow on all axis, Ez-trak DX. A DAC overflow means the control asked the axis to move and did not see a response. In other worked you have a bad position loop. This usually means a bad encoder. But it could also be a bad cable or a bad connection somewhere and/or a bad BMDC (but you eliminated this).

Bridgeport EZ Trak, 2 Axis Programming. Can CAMBAM be used to program a 2 axis Bridgeport EZ Trak milling machine. The 'X' and 'Y' axis are powered but the quill ('Z' axis) is manual. The machine is currently used for simple tasks as drilling holes on a PCD and such. But I want to explore the possibility of doing more with it.

The ProtoTrak is definitley easier to program and use. They are also more rigid as the entire column moves in the Z direction whereas only the quill moves on an EZ-Trak. Their only drawback is that unless you purchase a seperate DNC software package (about $1000), they aren't truly a three axis machine.
