To improve the efficiency of energy utilization while reducing the processing cost, we studied the feasibility of applying electrical fragmentation to crush coal in an air environment. Coal seams are dual-porosity reservoirs with a natural fracture system, known as "cleats". Their surface is macroporous, but the coal matrix is microporous [33].
